Medical Technologist
Join a state-of-the-art blood donor testing laboratory with growth potential, management support and a friendly environment. This position performs laboratory tests which require independent thought and judgment: chemistry, hematology, and immunohematology, including antibody identification. Must be willing to work rotating weekends & occasional on-call. BS in Medical Technology is required.
Medical Technologist (Mid-Shift)
Join a state-of-the-art blood donor testing laboratory with growth potential opportunities, management support and a friendly environment. This position performs laboratory tests which requires independent thought and judgment; responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance, training, equipment and assay validation. Testing procedures include chemistry, hematology, and immunohematology, including antibody identification. Hours for this position will be a mid-shift, and will require flexibility as the position/company grows, as well as the ability to work rotating weekends & the responsibility of being on-call rotation after hours and weekends. BS in Medical Technology is required.
Part-time Positions
Fixed-Site Attendant
Part-time position at the Blood Center's Lionville (Exton) fixed site. Responsible for registering donors, performing lot release, provide canteen and/or donor aide coverage as needed, maintain general cleanliness of site, data entry functions, and inventory control. This position is approximately 25 hours per week and requires evening and weekend hours. Applicant must have a high school diplima or equivalency, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; must also be computer literate, with the ability to learn existing and future software programs.
Mobile Unit Assistant
Part-time position based at our Reading site to drive and assist in the set-up, operation, and maintenance of mobile units, and register donors at mobile blood drives. Position requires (24/7) flexibility including weekends. Quality assurance, customer service and administrative/computer duties included. Must possess ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. A valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalency is required.
Phlebotomist
Part-time phlebotomy positions to work at mobile blood drives, including automated procedures. Qualified applicants must be willing to drive their own vehicle to mobile locations, and may require (occasionally) driving up to 2 hours.
Positions available in the Lehigh Valley, Berks and Montgomery / Chester County areas. Only qualified applicants will be considered. Qualified applicants must possess:

Phlebotomy Certification (i.e. DPT, CPT, etc.) or 6 months to 1 year experience in phlebotomy

Selected applicants must be available to attend an initial training of approximately 8 weeks at minimum of 37.5 hours per week including nights, days and weekends.
