Administrative Secretary

Full-time position for individual with knowledge of general office procedures, administrative experience, computer experience, preparing reports, customer service, ability to handle confidential material. Reports to Vice President of Administration. High school graduate with some college or business school preferred. Excellent benefits.

Phlebotomist

In search of mobile phlebotomists/screeners for Reading-area blood drives. Previous experience required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Weekend rotation required. Excellent benefits that include retention bonus and tuition reimbursement.

 

Part-time Positions

Mobile Donor Recruiter

Seeking an individual in the Lehigh Valley, and one in Berks County, to recruit blood donors for MKBC's mobile drives. Approx. 18 hrs/wk, with AM, PM and weekend hours. Position requires excellend communications, sales/marketing and social skills, as well as a driver's license. Post secondary education preferred, as well as sales/marketing work experience.

Component Technician

Perform lab procedures with dutiesthat include manufacturing blood products, quality control, equipment maintenance and regulation adherence. Fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods required.  25-35 hrs/week, 1st shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. Previous lab experience preferred, strong desire to learn, minimum high school diploma required.

Mobile Unit Assistant

Seeking an individual to drive and assist in the set-up, operation and maintenance of mobile units. Quality assurance and administrative duties included. Valid PA / CDL drivers license required, as well as some lifting and flexible availability. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required. Approx. 20/hrs week or more, excellent position for retiree.
