Donation Types

It is the responsibility of the Miller-Keystone to ensure that safe and adequate supplies of blood components are available for patients in the hospitals we serve. In addition to Allogeneic Donations (whole blood) and Automated Collections (for a specific blood component, such as red cells, platelets or plasma), a number of special services are available:

Miller-Keystone Blood Center is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the only supplier of blood products to 25 hospitals in
Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and Schuylkill (PA) and Hunterdon and Warren (NJ) counties.
Established in 1971, Miller-Keystone Blood Center is an affiliate of Hospital Central Services, Inc.
