Join the Competition to Save Lives!

The competition is fierce, the stakes are high, and the cause is greater than ever! Miller-Keystone Blood Center’s Blood Donor Madness is uniting Lehigh Valley colleges in a battle to save lives and claim victory. Rally your school, donate blood, and help crown the ultimate champion—because every drop counts! The competition runs from January 13 to April 4, 2025, at MKBC Lehigh Valley blood donation centers and on-campus drives.

Why Participate?

  • Fill out the form to be eligible to win fantastic prizes.
  • Student, faculty, and staff Prizes: MKBC will randomly select (3) donors from the winning college and (5) others from the list of all donors. Student prizes may include items such as: AirPods, Amazon gift cards, coffee gift cards, and Nike AirForce sneakers.
  • Selected Student, Faculty, and Staff prize winners will need to provide their current college ID when claiming the prize.
* Any MKBC raffle winners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive prize. One blood/platelet donation counts towards one MKBC promotional entry. MKBC employees and their families are not eligible for this promotion.

How It Works

  • The school with the most (weighted) donations wins the title of “MKBC Blood Donor Madness Champion” and is awarded a $10,000 award for its scholarship fund.
  • Each school will have a goal of 4% of their student population. If the goal is attained, the school will receive a $1,000 award toward its college scholarship fund.
  • Only students and faculty with valid college IDs are eligible for raffle prizes. Supporting donors are welcome to donate in a school’s name but are not eligible for prizes.

  • Student and faculty donors can enter to win additional prizes. Fill out the form above to be eligible to win.

How to Donate

Easy Access for All

  • Donate at MKBC Blood Donation Centers or at on-campus drives (max. one per month).
  • Use your school’s group code and show your College ID to contribute to your school’s tally.
  • For students without transportation to one of MKBC donor sites, free rides are available through Uber Health. Call: 1-800-B-A-DONOR and select option 2.
  • Each school has a designated coordinator who will schedule round-trip student rides from campus to the nearest donor site.
  • When making appointments at donor centers during evening hours, the last appointment time that may be scheduled is 5PM.
